Terms of service

These terms apply when you use this website or buy from Velora Scents (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them, together with our shipping policy, returns policy and privacy policy.

Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old and have a shipping address in the United States. We ship within the contiguous 48 states and Washington, D.C. only (see our shipping policy).

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we ship it, and you will receive an email confirming your payment. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is an obvious error in the price or description, if we cannot ship to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where we are required to collect it (currently North Carolina, at the rate for your delivery address), and the full total, including the delivery fee and tax, is shown before you pay. Businesses buying for resale can send us a valid resale certificate before ordering. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Crossed-out prices show our regular list price for the same item.

Products and safe use

Our fragrances are eau de parfum for external use only. Colors and packaging may differ slightly from the photos. Scent is personal and can smell different on each person’s skin.

• Spray on skin or clothing only. Avoid eyes, mouth, and broken or irritated skin.
• Test on a small area of skin first. Stop use if redness or irritation occurs, and see a doctor if it continues.
• Contains alcohol and is flammable: keep away from heat, sparks and open flame, and do not puncture or burn.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not swallow.
• Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.

Shipping, returns and refunds

Delivery is covered in our shipping policy and returns and refunds in our returns policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is delivered to the address you gave.

Our content

The Velora Scents name, logo, product names, photos and text on this site belong to us. You may not copy or use them commercially without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

Except where the law does not allow it, the site and products are provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, please email us first at velorascents.usa@gmail.com. Most problems can be sorted out quickly that way. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Velora Scents operates, without affecting any protection you have under the laws of your own state.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
